Scripture teaches us to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old enough he will not depart from it” (Proverbs Chapter 22 verse 6). Sunday School is a place where a serious structured course of Bible learning from Old and New Testaments is presented to children living in a godless age, by a team of committed teachers.
We have a varied programme, with singing, quizzes and memory verses, before the children split into their various classes for the main teaching. Sunday School is a very important work of the church, because Psalm 78 verse 6 tells us the future of the church is in the saving of the children. We encourage all parents to send their children to Sunday School, so that they may learn that the only true way to happiness is by putting their trust in the Saviour – the only one who will meet all their need.
Breakfast is served at 11am before we encourage the children and their parents to attend Sunday morning worship.
